This is an accelerated version of a 2-hour standard class based on The Safe Zone Project, a free curriculum for educators and learners. The class includes mini-lectures, individual reflections, small group activities, and large group discussions. Attendees also receive a participant’s guide for the class with references. This session is designed those not familiar or with little experience with the queer community.
1. Identify personal assumptions about LGTBQ+ people
2. Understand key vocabulary terms for LGBTQ+ identities
  3. Discern how privileges intersect with LGBTQ+ communities and workplaces
